To be very specific, I would give Trenton Nichols (Sales manager, ecommerce) and his sales guy Ivan Burazer (sales advisor, ecommerce) a 5 star rating if I were only rating the people I interacted with the most. I believe the way I was treated overall by this sales team was much better than I experienced at other Jeep dealerships in the area. One reason I give Trenton and Ivan a 5 star rating is for their patience as we were emailing back and forth about a new vehicle purchase for almost two months! My partner and I were focused, doing our research, and planning, and it was probably the longest that Trenton and Ivan have taken to sell a vehicle. For us, the time was worth it as we were combining this vehicle purchase with some home projects that had to be completed before buying (e.g., driveway replacement). When I was finally ready, I reached out to Trenton and Ivan, Ivan updated me on their current inventory, I chose the vehicle/color that we wanted, and Trenton finalized our out-the-door price within two days. Also, I appreciated that Trenton cut through any b.s. and gave us a *fantastic* deal on the vehicle. On the third day, I headed over to the dealership, and finally met Trenton and Ivan in person. Ivan was very accommodating, showed me the great features on the vehicle we had chosen, and let me test drive it, alone, which was highly appreciated! However, I didn't need to drive very far, as I knew in the first few moments of driving that it was the right vehicle for us. I came back, and Ivan and I worked through some details (insurance, minor paperwork, etc) and then I waited for the finance person. To be clear, I came in with my own financing and downpayment ready, so I figured it would be a quick signing and I would be out the door. I was pretty excited, as Trenton and Ivan did not push any extras onto me, and things were going smoothly and quickly, exactly the way I had hoped. Then I met the finance person... This person was different and high pressure, and pushed multiple warranties and protections in a way to instill fear. One package of warranties and protections I was offered, came out to $7000! I made it clear that I didn't want any of the packages, and that all I wanted was to drive home our new Jeep. After I said no to the packages, we began signing the paperwork. However, later in the middle of signing the paperwork, the finance person slipped in another protection package, including some of the same options that they offered initially but at 1/3 the cost of what they first quoted... meaning, I would have dramatically overpaid had I agreed to any protections the first time. However, I did my research and know what I might expect with vehicle, and I felt very confident that I didn't need any extra warranties and protections to make me feel better. The second time, I said just one word, "No". This high pressure experience with the finance person was off putting, in complete contrast to Trenton and Ivan, and made me want to speed up the process to get out of there. Importantly, dealing with the tactics of the finance person is what I and everyone else hates about buying vehicles at dealerships... It happened to me with the first vehicle I bought over twenty years ago, and it seems that dealerships are still using the high pressure model of selling cars that people hate even today... This is why I am giving Autonation Jeep a 3 star overall. If the finance person did not come on so strong and would have stopped urging me to buy warranties after I said no the first time, I would have given a 5 star because of the fantastic deal and the sales guys were low pressure and great. Finally, I want to specifically note that I shopped *multiple* Jeep dealers in the area before settling with Autonation Jeep, and I can tell you that I would rate the other dealers worse, based on the sales teams alone! Thus, I recommend working with Trenton and Ivan beforehand via email to minimize stress upfront, but when your pricing is ready and you go into the dealership, be ready...
